Only 3 days to go before the Big Give Christmas Challenge opens. It's great news that we have been selected to take part again - with all donations doubled during the campaign! So, if you are able to donate, the Big Give week is THE week to do it. Every donation goes so much further. Please get ready for our campaign page to open on Tuesday.

Last year we raised over £35,000 which was amazing. With that money we were able to expand the innovative Mobile Library programme from the Connect Education Centre in Northern Uganda. It has been an incredible success. The scheme is visibly helping to revolutionise literacy levels in the hundreds of primary schools we work with alongside READ for Life, which is fantastic. And for 2025 the scheme is being officially launched as a pilot in Central Uganda. So a big thank you to everyone who helped make that possible. Brilliant.

This year we are raising money during the campaign for Tables, Texts and Tech for the secondary school we partner with, Wobulenzi Town Academy. During the summer, we managed to raise funding for and to build a new Biology & Chemistry lab as well as renovate the old lab to become a senior (A level) library and research centre. We need your help to fit these new areas out, equip them and get them ready for action next term! So please think about donating during the campaign which opens in just 3 days time....

Please remember that for donations to be doubled - all donations must be made only via our campaign page - and only during the Big Give week - which opens on Tuesday 3rd December.
