2022 in 22

2022 was a year that started with ongoing Covid restrictions and over 800 students suddenly back in boarding school, rather unused to academic work and school routines, after two long years of school closure. The year ended abruptly with impending Ebola restrictions, but with WTA having made great progress overall, despite the challenges.

There was a brand new curriculum to work with, several new staff, many new students, a huge weekend to celebrate 10 years on the 'new' Lukomera site, 230 students completed public examinations - and last but not least, there was the all-important inauguration of the brand new football pitch. New buildings will be completed next term and there are other exciting new plans for 2023. Good times.
